; Non-article (NA) space
You can usually just drop the empty template on the talk page of files, templates, categories, or project (Wikipedia: prefix) pages:

The template will auto-detect the space (based on the prefix in the page name). If you want to manually specify the class, the additional non-mainspace classes are:
<pre>
{{WikiProject Academic Journals|class= }}
</pre>

One example of overriding the auto-detection: [[:Category:Bimonthly journals]] is a [[:Template:category redirect|category soft redirect]] to the actual [[:Category:Bi-monthly journals]]. The later can be tagged with the parameter-less banner, but the former is technically a "class=Redirect" (rather than the automatic Category-Class).

The "NA" is optionally for Non-Article pages that would need to be manually grouped outside of the File/Template/Category/Project classes (such as a documentation page located in Template space).
