Template:Watching/doc
Lua error: Internal error: The interpreter exited with status 1.
Purpose
This template was created for user talk pages, to let a user know that you are watching their page. This is designed to keep conversations from ping-ponging back and forth, but this is simpler than talkback-related templates. Ideally, this is used only on the first message of a conversation that a user leaves for another user, to instruct the receiving user where to reply.
Usage
- Lua error: Internal error: The interpreter exited with status 1.
Examples
- Typing:
What do you think of the article? {{Watching}} ~~~~
- will yield: What do you think of the article? (I am watching this page, so please reply here.) Example (talk) 14:09, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
