This is a documentation subpage for Template:Convert template. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
Used to mark a template for conversion into a standardized template format. Place inside 'noinclude' tags on the template page to prevent the message from being transcluded into article space, eg:
<noinclude>{{convert template|target_template}}</noinclude>
Parameters
- template = the standardized template that the template should be converted to
- discuss = a link to the discussion page for the conversion (defaults to the talk page of the standardized template).
This template adds any templates it is transcluded into to Category:Templates to be standardized by default, or to a Category:Templates to be standardized/{{{template}}} subpage if that category page has been created. Please create these category subpages as needed, and make sure that the subpages contain [[Category:Templates to be standardized]] to keep the category hierarchy intact.
