This template calculates the date of Easter according to Western Christianity. This year, for example, Easter falls on 20 April.
The template accepts two parameters.
- 1: The unnamed first parameter is the year for which the calculation is done (the default is the current year at UTC)
- format: Setting this to
mdywill put the month first.
For example, {{computus|2026|format=mdy}} gives "April 5".
